Fab Feature – That’s My Letter

So I came across this absolutely insanely creative project through a blog that I read religiously called Knock Off Décor.  It’s an industrial-style twin bed created by a blogger called That’s My Letter through a partnership with the ever fabulous Ana White.

Honestly I’d never heard of the blog That’s My Letter but that’s one of the many reasons why I love blogs like Knock Off Décor that feature some of the best posts from other bloggers – you find some of the most creative people that way!

Ok.. so.. onto this absolutely insanely creative project that That’s My Letter and Ana White cooked up!  It’s an industrial-style twin bed.  You can find all the details including a material list and easy to follow step by step instructions by clicking here.

Inspired by both the Pottery Barn Owen bed and RH Baby’s industrial steel pipe bed they married the two designs to create their own diy version.

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock or you’ve never heard of Pinterest then you’re probably aware that using iron or steel plumbing pipe is all the rage these days.  Mostly, I’ve seen it used to build bookshelves like the one below but I’ve NEVER seen it used to build something as incredible as this bed!  How awesome would this be for a teenage boys room???    And, if you’re not a fan of the natural wood and steel pipe colors you could always stain the wood and/or spray-paint the pipe to give this bed an entirely different look!
